Dear CTSASA Member

CTSASA WEBSITE AND MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

As you are aware, we have been experiencing numerous technical difficulties with the Membership Profile side of our website.

Our web developer is working to correct the problems.  However, the current situation is not resolving many of the services that the CTSASA must provide and therefore we have no option but to inform our members that the membership profile system will not be operational for the foreseeable future.

Instead, the following services will be handled by the CTSASA Executive Officer, Sarah Kalell:

Membership fee renewals for 2026 and Membership Database

With immediate effect, and for the foreseeable future, Sarah will be handling all membership renewals and membership database management.

Firearm Licence Support Documents – please send your request to Sarah at info@ctsasa.co.za.

If you require an endorsement document, please include the following information:  Make, model, gauge/calibre, serial number, state whether it is a new or renewal application, purpose of firearm (e.g. sports shooting, hunting, Trap, Skeet etc)

Dedicated Membership Certificate : please note that you need to have shot 200 competition targets at a CTSASA championship or CTSASA registered club within the past year.  If you are over the age of 70, then you only need to shoot 100 targets. Please also note that these certificates must be signed by a Commissioner of Oaths and therefore take a few days to process.

Classifications : for clubs hosting CTSASA championships, we will provide you with up-to-date classifications based upon the following parameters: averages will be calculated using all scores dating back 7 years.  Please note that there may be a few changes in your classification percentage and therefore your class.

On behalf of the CTSASA, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that these issues are causing.  I would like to reassure you that we are working extremely hard to rectify the problems and that they will be resolved.

Please rest assured that I will resolve your queries as speedily as possible but I do ask for your patience whilst I handle the increased workload.
